While serving as a chaplain at the Red Cross Children’s War Memorial Hospital, our founder recognised the need for menstrual hygiene support among mothers staying at their children’s bedsides. At the same time, through our Life Skills programmes in schools, we discovered that many girls were missing school due to period poverty and a lack of menstrual health education.

In response, Warriors of Hope developed the EcoSanitary Programme – a four-tier initiative that combines menstrual health education, the distribution of reusable eco-friendly sanitary towels, local employment through manufacturing, and community awareness. Together, these efforts help reduce period poverty, improve school attendance, and restore dignity for women and girls.
